TheSchool of Humanities successfully held the 57th academic lecture on the evening of June 6. The lecture invited Professor Wang Hui, from Zhejiang Normal University, Dean of The School of International Culture and Education, International Chinese Education Research Institute, and doctoral supervisor, as the keynote speaker. The topic of the lecture is "The Connotation, Field and Research Prospect of International Chinese Education". The lecture was presided over by Professor Sun Yanyan, Vice Dean of theSchool of Humanities, and more than 100 teachers and students attended the lecture.

Professor Wang Hui systematically sorted out the development process and development status of international Chinese education from the perspective of diachronic and synchronic, elaborated on the connotation and extension of international Chinese education, summarized the research content and characteristics of the field of international Chinese education from the macro, meso and micro levels, and believed that under the current major changes that have not occurred in a hundred years, macro and meso level research is an important guarantee for the sustainable development of international Chinese education; Deepening research at the micro level and consolidating the theoretical foundation of Chinese as a second language or foreign language teaching are the core of international Chinese education. It also made further prospects for the development of research and development in the field of international Chinese education.

This is the first lecture of the "International Chinese Education" theme lecture series, which opened the prelude to the smooth development of the follow-up lecture. The participating teachers and students said that the lecture was full of information, and the interactive session was extremely warm, and Professor Wang Hui answered the questions raised by the teachers and students one by one, shared and broadened the research methods and scope of international Chinese education.
