The International Chinese Training Center (ICTC) of the School of Humanities at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) was established in 1986. It is the only organization of teaching Chinese as a foreign language at the university and the most important window of BUPT to communicate with the outside world.

ICTC is locatedon the main campus of the university and at the center of Beijing with convenient transportation and living facilities. It is an ideal choice for international students to learn the Chinese language, experience and understand the Chinese culture.

Over the past 30 years, the team at ICTC has accumulated much experience in teaching and administration striving for excellence. The team is consisted oftheteachers who have high level of educational backgrounds and have trained thousands of outstanding international students from all over the world.

BUPT enjoys a reputation as a renowned university internationally especially in the fields of information and communication engineering and computer science and technology. Based on these educational and research backgrounds, ICTC is devoted to training comprehensive talents of "Chinese +" with distinctive characteristics of information technology. The enrollment of the center covers two levels: academic students working at BA degrees and short-term or long-term language students.
